asado | n. | a term used both for a range of barbecue techniques and the social event of having or attending a barbecue in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. An asado usually consists of beef alongside various other meats, which are cooked on a grill, called a parrilla, or an open fire.
After their debut farm dinner last summer the Gaucho and CVF teams remarked that all had such a great time, and wouldn't it be a blast to do these events all the time? It was suggested that Churchview would be a perfect setting for an asado, anything from a family picnic to a city-wide block party, much like the celebrations enjoyed by communities large and small in the southern cone of South America.
As a result, CVF is thrilled to be collaborating with the exceptional Gaucho team to bring you this new series for the 2017 season. More casual than the farm dinner series, these BBQ-style events allow for a more interactive experience between the guests, the farm and the chefs. Each event will feature a unique menu centered on locally sourced meats grilled over fires, farm-fresh dishes and salads, and beer from local breweries (feel free to also BYOBeverage).
Tickets are $75/pp, available online only and all sales are final. Seats are limited to 50 ppl per event.

Dinners are rain or shine. Veg/vegan/GF options are not available for this series and we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions of any kind. Questions? Churchview Farm and Gaucho Parrilla Argentina adhere to a strict No Refunds policy and all sales are final. Tickets for a specific event/date are not transferrable to another event/date after purchase.
Menus are at the discretion of the chefs, based on seasonal product availability and preference, and subject to change.
