New July dinners! On sale this Friday, June 6th @ 9 am

Churchview dinners typically sell out well in advance, but our Weeknight Farm Dinners are for all those who missed out on other 2025 events (or who can’t make plans for dinner nearly a year ahead). This series features newly announced guest chef events launched each month throughout the 2025 season. It also represents more variety, ranging from casual family style meals to elevated dining experiences. We think this series has something for everyone.

May and June dinners are sold out, but new July event listings (with Amboy, Sprezzatura, and Braddock Public House & Brew Gentlemen) are detailed below. Tickets will be available this Friday 6/6 at 9 am.

In these July menus at Churchview you’ll see (and taste) a reflection of culinary influences and experiences far and wide, from the Philippines to the Hawaiian islands to Italy. Join our events email list HERE to stay up-to-date.

Filipino Feast Returns

with Chef Raf Vencio of Amboy & Sommelier Alyssa McGrath

We introduced this dinner in May as one of our first 2025 events, and our guests were so over the moon that we’re bringing it back for Round Two. We think you’ll agree with some of our longtime customers, this event ranked among their favorite Churchview dinners.

Chef Rafael Vencio’s North Side restaurant Amboy (coming soon!) is introducing Filipino food to Pittsburgh. Born and raised in the Philippines until his family immigrated to the US, Amboy was a nickname formerly used to poke fun whenever he returned home from abroad. Now, that slang represents the chef’s journey, history, and experiences, converging in a cuisine that’s both modern and steeped in tradition.

Sommelier Alyssa McGrath, Western PA rep for Skurnik Wines & Spirits, is working with chef Raf to pair a combination of Filipino-inspired cocktails, wine, and sake to complete this authentic meal experience where old school meets new. Mabuhay!

This event will be held on Wednesday, July 9th @ 6 pm. Tickets are $155 pp and are inclusive of the entire experience.

The chef is able to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, GF, dairy free, tree nut and other common severe allergies provided that they are given in advance. Please note, we are unable to accommodate specialty diets (eg keto, paleo) for this experience. This is not a vegetarian meal, though that option is available with advance request. Events Coordinator Alison Hillard will email guests prior to the event regarding seating requests and dietary accommodations. Any restrictions and allergies provided after the stated deadline will not be accommodated. Seasonal spirit-free offerings from Goodlander Cocktails are always available upon request.

Italian Summer Festa with Sprezzatura

Another event back by popular demand is this Italian al fresco-style summer feast, and this year’s dinner will be extra celebratory because it’s chef & owner Jen Saffron’s birthday! She plans to start the party early by spending much of the day perched at our open fire grill, preparing locally sourced meats and veggies for the meal (veg & vegan options will be available).

Her menu will also feature passed apps, a pasta course, plenty of farm-fresh sides, and dessert worthy of this Italian birthday queen. Each course will offer Italian-inspired cocktails featuring fruits and herbs produced at CVF, with spirit-free versions available.

A Gold Level Sustainable Pittsburgh kitchen, Sprezzatura employs environmental practices such as commercial composting, and community partnerships that bring healthy, accessible food to low-income children and families. We are thrilled to partner with another like minded woman owned, community driven business for this dining experience, and to celebrate farm to table Italian food the Sprezzatura way!

This event will be held on Thursday, July 24th @ 6 pm. Tickets are $165 pp and are inclusive of the entire experience.

The chef will accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free dietary needs, as well as other common severe allergies (NOT preferences) provided that they are approved and given in advance.

Aloha from Braddock

A bridge between Pittsburgh and the Pacific with Braddock Public House

The minds and talent behind beloved local institution Brew Gentlemen recently brought their world-class beer, innovative cocktail program, and Hawaiian-Japanese influenced menu to Pittsburgh with Braddock Public House, and this July the show comes to Churchview.

Guests will enjoy five seated courses in our dining space, situated between our kitchen, herb garden, growing fields, and numerous flower gardens. This seasonal menu will feature dishes inspired by Churchview produce with island influences, accompanied by paired cocktails, beers from BG Brewing, and spirit-free beverages. Join us to celebrate the delicious and unique flavors of this midsummer collaboration with the return of an event partner who was involved in some of the first ever CVF dinners.

This event will be held on Wednesday July 30th @ 6 pm. Tickets are $155 pp and are inclusive of the entire experience.

The chefs will accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free dietary needs, as well as other common/severe allergies (NOT preferences) provided that they are approved and given in advance. This is not a vegetarian meal, though that option is available with advance request. Events Coordinator Alison Hillard will email guests prior to the event regarding seating requests and dietary accommodations. Any restrictions and allergies provided after the stated deadline will not be accommodated. Seasonal spirit-free offerings are always available upon request.

Did you know? Your ticket pays for more than the unique food and surroundings that you and your guests experience on any given evening at the farm. Dinners and events at Churchview exist to support our farm, pay sustainable wages, and allow us to operate as a community space for education, programming, and engagement. None of our products (fruits, vegetables, herbs, eggs, honey) are sold. Everything is grown by and given directly to those who come to Churchview as part of our zero-cost community-based education. The rest is allocated to our guest chefs for these seasonal events. Thank you for supporting our community!

All events are rain or shine, all sales are final, and all tickets limited to those age 21 and over. Please review our No Refunds/No Transfers policies and Terms of Service here. Reminder: online resale of any Churchview Farm ticket is explicitly prohibited. Any ticket resold without expressed permission will not be honored.
