June events are sold out, new July dinners will be announced soon!

Churchview dinners typically sell out well in advance, but our Weeknight Farm Dinners are for all those who missed out on other 2025 events (or who can’t make plans for dinner nearly a year ahead). This series features newly announced guest chef events launched each month throughout the 2025 season, and the introduction of more variety, ranging from casual family style meals to elevated dining experiences. We think this series has something for everyone.
New July dinners will be announced on Monday 6/2.

Family Reunion!
with Chef Chris Bonfili & Team Bonfire
You can take the chef out of the restaurant but … well, you know. Earlier this year Chris Bonfili, chef/owner of the beloved Bonfire Food & Drink, decided to step away from full-time chef life in favor of full-time dad life. Still, a minor detail like not having a restaurant can’t keep a good chef out of the kitchen. A thirteen-year veteran of our Sunday Farm Dinner series, and one of our longest running restaurant partners (back to the Avenue B days), we’re thrilled to welcome our talented friend back to Churchview any time he’ll cook for us.
Bonfire farm dinners are always impressive, but it’s even more special to partake in something that’s (sadly for us) no longer available in its brick & mortar form. From the passed welcome bites you will enjoy as you roam the farm grounds, to the five courses of incredible food with drink pairings, this will be an evening to remember.
Join us for what will hopefully be the first of many Family Reunion dinners with Chef Chris and Team Bonfire.
This event will be held on Thursday, June 12th @ 6 pm. Tickets are $185 pp and are inclusive of the entire experience.
The chef will accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free dietary restrictions, as well as common/serious allergies (NOT preferences) for this meal provided that they are approved and given to us in advance. This is not a vegetarian meal. Events Coordinator Alison Hillard will email guests prior to the event regarding seating requests and dietary accommodations. Any restrictions and allergies provided after the stated deadline will not be accommodated.
Fried Chicken and Caviar
a fancy schmancy picnic with Jillian’s Restaurant & sommelier Alyssa McGrath
Churchview and Jillian’s Restaurant are a perfect pairing, as husband and wife team Phil & Jillian’s philosophy for their cozy New Kensington restaurant is rooted in all things farm-to-table, from-scratch, and locally-sourced. Dinner at Jillian’s is like going to your best friend’s house - if your best friend is an amazing chef and happens to have a killer bar.
For this start-of-summer feast, imagine elevated “picnic” fare and laid-back farm vibes.
Your experience begins with a stroll to the herb garden for a welcome drink and passed bites, and eases into a series of delightful courses in our dining space. While we can’t ruin the surprise by releasing menu details in advance, there are rumors of deviled egg and caviar chips & dip, trout salad, baked oysters, fancy burgers, and - yes - cold fried chicken with (more) caviar.
Our favorite local sommelier, Alyssa McGrath (Western PA rep for Skurnik Wines & Spirits), joins us to share her passion for wine and to discuss some of her favorite “fancy schmancy picnic” pairings. This dinner is the epitome of summer at Churchview.
This event will be held on Tuesday, June 17th @ 6 pm. Tickets are $165 pp and are inclusive of the entire experience.
The chef will accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free dietary needs, as well as common/severe allergies (NOT preferences) provided that they are approved and given in advance. Egg allergies cannot be accommodated for this dinner. This is not a vegetarian meal. Events Coordinator Alison Hillard will email guests prior to the event regarding seating requests and dietary accommodations. Any restrictions and allergies provided after the stated deadline will not be accommodated. Seasonal spirit-free offerings from Goodlander Cocktails are always available upon request.
Argentinian Summer Dinner
with Balvanera
Popular Balvanera is a destination spot for those in Pittsburgh and beyond for good reason. Argentinian chef Fernando Navas and Pittsburgh native Meredith Boyle came together to form this Argentine-style brasserie that pays homage to its European roots. Balvanera represents the Buenos Aires-porteño lifestyle and fare with a curated selection of South American wines, aperitivos, and beef. We were honored to include them in our Sunday Dinner Series in 2024, and are grateful and excited that their team is bringing the magic back to Churchview this season.
Chef Navas (an Official Culinary Ambassador of Argentina) and his team strive to promote his culture and heritage through Balvanera’s incredible, memorable cuisines and wines, and we invite you to share in this special experience on the farm this summer. From passed welcome bites to plated and shared courses in our dining space, we can’t wait to celebrate the magic of Argentinian food and wine with our Churchview guests.
This event will be held on Tuesday, June 24th @ 6 pm. Tickets are $185 pp and are inclusive of the entire experience.
The chefs will accommodate vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy free dietary needs, as well as other common/severe allergies (NOT preferences) provided that they are approved and given in advance.
Not Your Average Pizza Party
an evening with Driftwood Oven and Allora Wine Group
Let’s imagine a different kind of pizza party. One that kicks off with passed bites and Italian bubbles, enjoyed while you roam around herb gardens and spring flower beds. It features pizzas - of course - that highlight the best local spring produce, but also includes an array of courses, salads, and sides from the talented team at Driftwood. Imagine the food is complimented by offerings from our friends at Allora Wine Group, and topped off with some pretty incredible pastries and desserts. That’s the kind of pizza party you’re in for.
Join us to celebrate the beginning of summer with this family-style event, enjoyed on the grounds and in the dining space at Churchview. Food and drink, flowers and sunshine, laughter and conversation… that’s one memorable pizza party.
This event will be held on Wednesday June 25th @ 6 pm. Tickets are $155 pp and are inclusive of the entire experience.
The chef will accommodate vegetarians, as well as nut and other common/severe allergies (NOT preferences) provided that they are approved and given in advance. Nightshade allergies and gluten-free restrictions cannot be accommodated for this dinner.

Did you know? Your ticket pays for more than the unique food and surroundings that you and your guests experience on any given evening at the farm. Dinners and events at Churchview exist to support our farm, pay sustainable wages, and allow us to operate as a community space for education, programming, and engagement. None of our products (fruits, vegetables, herbs, eggs, honey) are sold. Everything is grown by and given directly to those who come to Churchview as part of our zero-cost community-based education. The rest is allocated to our guest chefs for these seasonal events. Thank you for supporting our community!
All events are rain or shine, all sales are final, and all tickets limited to those age 21 and over. Please review our No Refunds/No Transfers policies and Terms of Service here. Reminder: online resale of any Churchview Farm ticket is explicitly prohibited. Any ticket resold without expressed permission will not be honored.
